Food and Nutrition Services
VVRMC provides a hospitality approach for serving patients their meals. Each morning patients are visited by a Food Service Associate to assist with the selection of their daily meals. The Food Service Associate returns to the patient's room several times throughout the day to deliver meals, assist with food choices, and offer snacks in accordance with the patient's therapeutic diet.
Clinical Nutrition Services
Registered Dietitians are on staff and in addition to screening patients for nutrition risk, the dieticians complete nutrition assessments, make recommendations to the patient's physician, and provide nutrition education. Dietitians work closely with the Food Service Personnel and all interdisciplinary team members to provide the best nutritional care possible.
VVRMC Border Bistro
Our Bistro offers a variety of selections daily. Choose from a selection of hot entrees, soup, salad or sandwiches.
Hours of Operation
Breakfast: 6:30 to 10 a.m.
Lunch: 11:30 a.m.to 2 p.m.
Snacks and dinner: 3 to 6 p.m.
