Val Verde Regional Medical Center (VVRMC) contracts with various physician groups to provide hospital-based services for patients. Each of these groups has a strong clinical reputation among local, regional and national medical communities. We partner with these doctors in order to offer high-quality clinical care for our patients.
It is important to realize that these physicians are independent contractors, and that patients who receive services from them will be billed separately from the hospital. While the medical groups that make up our hospital-based services are contracted with most major health insurances, it is always a good idea to double check before you come to VVRMC.
Emergency Services
The Emergency Department contract physician group is Victoria Emergency Associates. VEA's mission statement resonates with VVRMC: "To serve communities throughout Texas by providing expert emergency care with kindness and compassion."
