SPECTVal Verde Regional Medical Center's radiology department is pleased to present our new nuclear medicine SPECT (single-photon emission computed tomography) system, the GE Discovery NM 630.

This new technology will help clinicians diagnose patients earlier and more accurately. This is a step forward in detector design which changes the relationship between time of exam, dosage and image quality, reducing exam time. New technology allows us to give healthcare providers the outstanding capability to deliver excellent care to their patients. This makes nuclear medicine technology more accessible and enables us to provide results valuable to all physicians.

The Discovery NM 630 also brings comfort to our patients with its wide bore and table capable of providing access to a wide variety of patient sizes up to 500 lbs. Its XelerisTM 4.0 work station, is the next generation for nuclear medicine processing. Xeleris comes with updated software which includes a wide range of procedures such as: cardiac, renal and gastrointestinal applications. The #1 reason for improving is providing healthcare you can trust.
