1. Never point fireworks at another living being - human or animal.

2. We are experiencing a drought. Look around - the brush is super DRY!!! If you are using fireworks, do it wherethere isn’t dry brush. Be prepared forfire with a hose or buckets of water.

3. Keep a close eye on your children. They should be very closely supervised around fireworks.

4. Alcohol and fireworks do not mix! You have a designated driver when you are out drinking, have a designated fireworks person if there is alcohol at your 4th of July celebration.

5. Keep your pets inside for safety. A lot of dogs and cats are afraid of loud noises. A dog or cat who has never left the property could run away. Keep them inside.

6. Be conscientious of others. Your neighbor may have PTSD. Their maybe a child with autism in your
neighborhood. The person across the street might have to get up early for work. Be considerate.
