FAMILY MEDICINE
Val Verde Regional Medical Center's (VVRMC) family practitioners specialize in providing care for the vast majority of medical problems to patients of all ages. They provide up-to-date health education and high-quality care while meeting the specialized needs of each patient.
Establishing care with a family practice medical provider is a great option. If your issue is more complex, you may be referred to a specialist, depending on the specific service you need.
Our team of family medicine practitioners includes Vivian Viera, MD; Dennis Ong, NP; Sasha Valdez, NP; Conice Boenicke, PA; and Eric Cavanaugh, PA.
PEDIATRICS
Crystal de la Cerda, MD; Jose Oviedo, MD; and Roxanna Benton, PA-C, MHS, provide pediatric services at VVRMC.
They focus on the growth and development of children as well as the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of childhood diseases. They care for the child's physical, emotional and social health from infancy through adolescence. These specially trained providers see all manner of issues while also providing:
- Education, advice and guidance to parents and children
- Well-baby examinations to evaluate general health
- Immunizations and vaccinations
- Treatment for short- and long-term illnesses and diseases
The pediatric team works to establish long-term relationships with the families of our youngest population while also providing the best care possible. They join in community efforts to prevent and solve problems with children's health care as well as serve as advocates for their patients.
