Imaging Center
Radiology, more than just X-rays
Registered technologists
Our registered technologists perform all modalities with the utmost proficiency and professionalism.
CT
Our computerized tomography scanner is a GE helical spiral scanner. It can scan all parts of the body and is available 24-hours a day.
MRI
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). We are equipped to image all age groups from the elderly to pediatrics. We perform spine imaging, brain imaging, and all orthopedic modalities, as well.
Diagnostic imaging
Our diagnostic imaging department has two newly installed digital fluoroscopy units. All our routine fluoroscopy and radiographs are done in this department. This department has a state of the art Sophy Dual head variable angle gamma camera. All cardiac stress imaging as well as echocardiograms and some vascular work is performed in this department. Our diagnostic nuclear medicine studies are also performed with the new camera. This department also performs tests such as bone studies, nepato biliary iminodiacetic acid (HIDA) scans and bleeding scans. This versatile camera is wonderful for older patients as well as pediatric.
Ultrasound
Our ultrasound department has two dedicated units performing approximately 300 studies a month. These include obstetric, vascular, abdominal, breast and many other small-part ultrasounds.
Mammography
Our mammography department is accredited by the American College of Radiology. All our technicians are also registered in mammography. Our department promotes breast cancer awareness.
