VVRMC offers a discount program for outpatient and inpatient services as part of our Charity Care Program. This program is intended to assist uninsured individuals (including Medicare and Medicaid) with low-income who do not otherwise have the ability to pay in full as outlined in our qualification criteria. The program provides a discount for prompt payments for services received. The Charity Care Program is a continued commitment to better serving our community.
We recognize the importance of support from family and friends when you are a patient in the hospital. However, in order to enhance the quality of care, specific regulations and visiting hours have been established.
Only two visitors per patient are allowed in semiprivate rooms and four visitors per patient in private rooms. Children under the age of 12 are not permitted without an adult. Unattended children are not allowed in the waiting rooms. This will help to ensure the comfort and privacy of all patients.
Visiting hours
Intensive care unit (ICU)
Open visiting hours are at the discretion of the nursing staff
based on emergent care with the exception of shift change. Shift
changes are from 6:45 to 7:45 a.m. and 6:45 to 7:45 p.m. No
fresh flowers are allowed in the ICU.
Medical surgical unit
9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Women’s Center
9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
