Val Verde Regional Medical Center (VVRMC) is committed to providing all services in full compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and guidelines, as well as with its own policies and procedures. VVRMC is particularly sensitive to requirements applicable to federal and state health care programs and the submission of accurate bills for all services provided. Compliance by vendors, contractors and consultants conducting business on behalf of VVRMC or in the VVRMC work environment is important to the VVRMC’s overall compliance efforts.
In accordance with the requirements of the Deficit Reduction Act of 2005, VVRMC has developed false claims policies. These policies state that VVRMC is committed to complying with all applicable laws and regulations, supports the efforts of federal and state authorities in identifying incidents of fraud and abuse, and has the necessary procedures in place to prevent, detect, report and correct incidents of fraud and/or abuse in accordance with contractual, regulatory and statutory requirements. As a contractor or agent of VVRMC, you must comply with the Val VVRMC false claims policies, which are modeled after state and federal policies.
