Steven Hale, FACHE
Interim-chief executive officer and chief operating officer
Steven Hale is the chief operations officer and the interim chief executive officer at VVRMC. He is a distinguished military graduate from North West Missouri State University, Maryville, MO and was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Army Medical Service Corps in 1987. He earned a master’s degree in healthcare administration from Baylor University.
Hale has over twenty years of progressive experience in the healthcare industry, serving as COO at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, Germany and Tripler Army Medical Center, Hawaii. He retired from the Army after twenty six years of service.
Hale’s military awards and decorations include the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star medal, Meritorious Service medal (7th Oak Leaf Cluster), the Iraq Campaign medal with bronze star and the Expert Field Medical badge.
Hale is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Lisa Medovich, CPA
Chief Financial Officer
Lisa Medovich is the CFO at VVRMC. She is an experienced leader in corporate finance, with a background of more than 20 years working with complex, multidimensional healthcare organizations, including public accounting where she was a senior manager in the Healthcare Practice at Ernst & Young, LLP. She collaborates with board members and VVRMC management on financial improvement and operational strategies. Medovich came to VVRMC most recently from ValleyCare Health System of Ohio and Forum Health, where her focus as CFO was driving and managing restructuring initiatives, revenue cycle improvements and acquisition due diligence.
Medovich earned her BA in Accounting from Youngstown State University in Youngstown, Ohio. She is a Certified Public Accountant, and is a member of a number of professional organizations, as well as having filled leadership positions on various advisory boards and associations.
Keith Tucker, RN, MSN
Chief Nursing Officer
Keith Tucker, MSN is the Chief Nursing Officer at VVRMC. He has over sixteen years of nursing experience and twelve years of progressive leadership/management experience including Chief Nursing Executive at Barrow Regional Medical Center in Winder, Georgia. Other experience includes Assistant Chief Nursing Officer at Dallas Regional Medical Center in Mesquite, Texas where he directly lead and was accountable for nursing services of the facility.
Tucker earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, Texas and his Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing with specialization in Executive Leadership from Chicago, Illinois.Back to top
